Solo Exhibition
»Iris«
Photographs & drawings
Jürgen C. Vrehs
OPEN / GEÖFFNET
Every human eye has a so-called “blind spot” in which the optic nerve leaves the eyeball and the retina has no photoreceptors. Actually, we can “not see” at this point, but our brain covers up this fact and shows us a complete and harmonious picture.
Jürgen C. Vrehs investigates this “visual impairment” in his series of pictures “Iris”. With a combination of photographs and drawings, he searches for the “blind spot” in our lives.
The small-format pictures are shown in the gallery’s window.
An artist’s book for the exhibition will soon be published.
