»To go for a stroll«

Anja Teske

Strolling fast or slow leads to different discoveries and visual languages.
The series „Encounters“ was taken while I was strolling fast through St. Petersburg.
Bodies of persons become monuments.
„Neighbour’s Garden“ was taken during slow walks.
The modulation of the grass formations which sometimes seem to have only two dimensions and their abundance in the groomed gardens of our neighbours fascinates me. These minimalistic private landscapes are scenes for activities of their owners without having to see them.
