»Nikon Ambassadors Masterclass – 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall«

Presented by Nikon GmbH, Fotobus Society, Haus der Geschichte and Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie

Nikon GmbH in cooperation with the Fotobus Society, the Haus der Geschichte museum and the Ostkreuzschule Berlin cordially invites you and your friends to the closing event and exhibition of the Nikon Masterclass featuring the Nikon Ambassadors Bénédicte Kurzen and Daniel Biskup.

The evening begins with a podium discussion (held in English and German) on the theme of the “30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall” featuring NOOR photographer Bénédicte Kurzen, German photojournalist Daniel Biskup and the founder of the Fotobus Society Christoph Bangert.

Afterwards the participants of the Masterclass present their work in short interviews on stage. Some of the photos created during the workshop are presented in a popup exhibition on high-quality prints provided by Epson. Guests are invited to meet with instructors and participants over drinks and snacks. Admission is free.

About the Nikon Masterclass:
The workshop, limited to only eight participants, will take place on 13.09.2019 and 27. – 28.09.2019 in Berlin. A total of 104 students studying photography at 17 different German universities and private institutions applied to the Nikon Masterclass.
The first part of the workshop took place in the “Kulturbrauerei” Berlin and included a guided tour through the current exhibition “AFTER THE WALL – Daniel Biskup. Photographs 1990-1995 “. The second part will take place at the Ostkreuzschule.
Each of the participants of the workshop received a mirrorless Nikon Z 6 camera with a 24-70mm f4.0 lens and FTZ adapter free of charge.
