Mike Chick
First studied Modern Languages at Oxford University, then Photography at the London College of Printing. Inspired by his German roots in Szczecin (Stettin) he explores the impact of history on landscape and people in a region, with his project ODER-NEISSE (book and photographs). “The themes of occupation and the discovery of a country and its people in Joseph Conrad’s novel “Heart of Darkness” were a big influence on my work, and flow through it like the rivers of the title”. Mike Chick lives and works in London and Berlin.

Cocis Ferrari
Studied Illustration and Graphic Design in Italy and has worked as a photographer since 2010. The series BORDERS (photographs) explores the moment of transition between leaving a familiar place and entering an unknown world.“ We haven’t entered yet. We are still in an uncertain zone. We are on the border line and here we can’t actually understand who is going in and who is coming out, we can’t understand who is the host and who is the intruder.” Cocis Ferrari lives and works in Turin.
